There Is Always a Light

By Rachel Selenia

At times, our lives grow dark
We say, I can't do this any more
Every little thing is a burden
We do nothing, thinking: What for?

Tired of all that Someone has put us through
We just wanna lie down, getting some rest
Leaving everything for someone else to manage
Thinking: Why is my life a huge, tough test?

But remember: when life gets rough
Stop weeping and whining
There's always a light in the darkness
Take a look around — you'll see it shining.

There's always a light in the darkness
