Iron Will

When a Toddler tries to stand,
He may not always succeed.
But with a giggle and without a care,
He would still proceed.

A Farmer might sow plenty of seeds,
But acquire no produce.
"If not this time, maybe next,"
Is what he would deduce.

An Artist who is known for perfection
May not always get it right.
But once the masterpiece is complete,
He would not believe his own sight.

Tourists and Travelers across the globe,
Would not always find comfort.
But when the destination is reached,
It was definitely worth the effort.

So be it a Toddler, an Artist, a Tourist,
A Farmer, or even a Wizard,
There is nothing in this universe
That stops you from being an achiever.

Promise

As you sit in silence
Wondering why
I'll be your shoulders to cry on
Until your tears run dry

When you've been hurt
And can't believe what they've done
If you need someone to talk to
I'll be the one

If a close friend hurts you
And you don't understand
Remember I'm here
I'll lend a helping hand

Burdens are lighter when carried by two
And I just want you to know
I'm here for you
I promise
