The Cheerie-Os Report
Rorey Padfoot here, giving you an update on what the Cheerie-Os have in store for you this year. First though, to help keep everyone on the same page a little background on what the Cheerie-Os are.
The Cheerie-Os are the Hufflepuff cheerleading squad run by co-captains Emma Pacifica and Rorey Padfoot. The squad is at all the Hufflepuff Quidditch games, cheering the Spiffies to victory, in a positive way or course. *grin*
The current members of the Cheerie-Os are Emma and Rorey, Prof. Cosmo B. Mott, Hermionie Miranda, and Zoki Phantom. We are holding try-outs on September 18th at 9 p.m. HOL time (though I think by the time this article is printed, the try-out time will have passed. Editor's note: Yes, September 18 has come and gone. -CBM). Not to fear though; if you missed the September try-out date and would like to still try-out for the squad, feel free to read the thread located in the Broom Cupboard at the Sett about how to try-out, and then pm Emma or Rorey if you would like to set up another try-out time.
This year the Cheerie-Os are going to be better than ever, as we are planning monthly activities for all students (badgers and non-badgers alike) that will help show off Hufflepuff spirit. With each activity, students will be able to earn citrines. Also, since there will be two activities a month, one will be just for Hufflepuffs and one will be for all of HOL. We will do our best to advertise the new activities every month on the HOL Blog, but regular visits to the Fireside will keep you informed just as easily.
We hope to have a lot of turn out at the Quidditch games and with the in-house activities. It's a great way to show your Hufflepuff pride!
