Wizarding Times

While you frantically try to finish all the assignments and finals and make sure all your last minute work is done, you begin thinking about the long summer holidays — in which there'd be no classes and pretty much lots of time to spare. So what are you supposed to do during the HOL summer holiday? Real life school is out and HOL is the least busy, which might look like bad timing for you because spending days doing nothing seems like such a gloomy thing. Fear not! Even during the summer holidays, HOL still has a lot of things in which you can participate.

First and foremost there's the Summer Quidditch League, which the people in charge have promised will return this year. If you've never tried Quidditch before, SQL is the best time to start. I myself got addicted to Quidditch through SQL, and it's a great opportunity to start out with because it's not as competitive as the real Quidditch season and the point is simply to have fun while playing with people from other Houses — a chance you would not get otherwise. There's even a new Snitch tournament this year, something that has never been done before. Because SQL only has Quaffle play, if you're a bored Seeker, this is your perfect chance to get to play this summer!

You can, of course, watch any matches that are still to be held, and if you're really dying for some hot seeker action, you can try to set up some casual games on your own. -CB
