A Note from the Head of House

by Prof. Anya Chutney

As I write this, students are taking their final exams, running through the hallways yelling and, in general, waiting to go home for summer vacation. What are you planning on doing this summer? Any enjoyable vacation plans?

It's been both a tough and a joyous year around the Sett. We've dealt with personal sorrow, personal joy, and the always-lovely chance to get to know one another better. I am hoping that all of our students, HOL-wide, realize what a special place we have here.

It speaks to the success of a boy wizard and his friends — the fact that we are all still here, coming up with new ideas, making new friends, and continuing our education both in the academic and creative sense. I hope we can all learn something from our friends, our classes, our House, and each other.

I am so very proud of my Hufflepuffs. We are a strong and friendly house... we accept and love one another for who we are. I hope each and every one of you can find comfort and joy in that. Thank you all for your hard work this year. It is a pleasure to be your Head of House. I am humbled by the love and support that the entire House shows for me and for our wonderful staff!

Have a great summer and I hope to see all of your shining faces back here in the fall — ready for more fun and Sett craziness!

My love and laughter for you,
Anya
