There is so much history here and so many places said to be haunted. How to pick just a few places to visit is going to be tough. Though if you ask anyone who believes in ghosts they would say that the LaLaurie Mansion is the place to investigate. Our brave Prof. Tarma did a little investigating of her own before our trip and found the history of this stately mansion. Once you see a photo of the building I'm sure you may have seen it at some point. It was the home of Madame Delphine MacCarthy LaLaurie, who was not a nice person. She was investigated for the deaths of her two husbands and in 1828 was also investigated for cruelty to enslaved people.
