The ants I chose are black garden ants! I feel like these are the types that we may be most familiar with and see everywhere. A fun fact about them? They can’t eat solid foods, so they use the little scissor type jaw bits they have to squeeze out all the liquid of something to eat it that way, and leave the shell behind!

1. I didn’t realize how many places around America, or the world, had so many spooky stories. 2. I had never seen pictures before of the places I knew about, like St. Augustine’s prison, so doing the jigsaws were fun, even if it took me forever. 3. The vans were so fun, with all the different games and activities!
