Day One
I await the day it all starts, when finally the year begins
I await the day when I shall start receiving the points that will help Hufflepuff win
I await the day HOL comes back and when the work and fun begins with that
September 1st is on my mind
September 1st will be the time
I try to settle for as long as I can
But the excitement can't keep still
I'll stalk it down and wait every second
If I have to, I will
Finally after so much time
What will come back shall be again mine
For after all this time
Still, somehow, I am managing fine
Day One will be such a day
That gives me the shivers
And yet Day One will also make me quiver
For what will happen this new year, only time will tell
All I hope is that from Day One, all goes well
Classes
It all started when class applications went up
And the ideas flooded in
And the list was prepared
The list was revealed
Soon we signed up for our classes
The adrenaline pumping the entire time
The choice was hard
The decision was tough
Soon we signed up for what seemed like enough
Many started their work so soon
For they couldn't wait longer
But I wouldn't blame them
As they loved every moment
And now the year is almost here
Where we send in the work
We get the grades
We get the points
And we get the knowledge
All from these classes
