Prof. Felicia Hartwick
Starting in September, every month we will bring you activities which focus on some of the amazing animals around the world. The animals can be as simple as dogs and cats to perhaps newly found animals (seems like there were many this past summer, like the Giant Crab Spider) or maybe animals that are now extinct... like dinosaurs. The theme will change from month to month and activities will be varied, from written items (like creating a bucket list), discussions to jigsaws to puzzles. Each week will bring a new challenge -- where you can enjoy yourself and earn Diamonds! All items from each week will be due at the end of the month, so if you join up late you may still participate in all the activities for the month. Remember to click to follow this Forum so that you receive updates whenever a new Activity is posted. Thank you for joining us. We hope you enjoy Wonders of the World. If for accessibility reasons you can't complete any of the activities, please just let me know and an alternative can be worked out – we might give you something to research and write up about, but we will come up with an alternative!

September features the Wonders of Horses. I think you all probably figured that, but just in case, that's who we are celebrating in September!
Prof. Felicia Hartwick
Black Cats It's the month of October. The time for all things spooky. Ghosts. Witches. Monsters. Zombies. And Black Cats. This month we will look into which countries believe in the superstition that black cats are evil and which countries don't believe that superstition. We will look back in history and try to find where this superstition began. And maybe, why it began. And maybe we'll find out who here believes in that superstition.... maybe.
