Interview with Harry & Ginny and Ron & Hermione

By Carrie Warts, Gryffindor

In this special for the Wizarding Times, we decided to call one of our favorite part-time journalist, Ms. Luna Lovegood, to interview some of her old friends from school.

If you haven't guessed it already, she is interviewing two famous couples. Couples that changed our lives and the course of our future. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Potter & Ginny Weasley and their best friends Mr. and Mrs. Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger.

Luna: First of all, I'm so glad to see you all again. I know our kids hang out way more than we did back in our school time because back then, we had a lot of trouble with Voldemort... *stares at the wall remembering*, I would like to start the interview with an important question for all of you. Have you seen any nargles lately?

All: Hi Luna!... uh… no, not really.

Luna: Oh well... My next question goes out to Ginny. We know your time with the Holyhead Harpies was magnificent and that now you are a Sports Editor for the Daily Prophet, what is it that you miss the most about Quidditch?

Ginny: I would have to say my team, although we get together every now and then to have a friendly match against other retired Quidditch players. I miss playing with them. Our conversations in the locker rooms, our inside jokes, and winning matches, of course.

Luna: *nods* Those were fun moments. My next question is for Harry. Looking back at the time my father told you about the Deathly Hallows and how all 3 of them make someone the Master of Death, how did it feel to become the Master of Death at age 17?

Harry: Uhm... I never thought about it in that way because I never held the three items at once, but I could feel them all being a big burden separately. I can't imagine what would have been to have all 3 of them together.

Luna: Interesting... One final question for you guys. You have three beautiful children. James, Albus, and Lily Luna. That's a beautiful name. How did they handle the Potter legacy at Hogwarts?

Ginny: Albus and James had a rough first two years. People would stare at them and whisper behind their backs which made them a little uncomfortable....
Harry: But the good thing is they were never alone. They appreciate and still cherish their friends. Your kids, Luna, Lorcan and Lysander, Teddy Lupin, and of course, Rose and Hugo.

Ginny: They are like us, a big pack of friends that have each other's back. And thanks to that, Lily had a much more relaxed time at Hogwarts.

Luna: So true... *stares at a chair remembering* My next question goes to Hermione who has been the Minister of Magic for a year now? Congratulations! What made you want to go back to Hogwarts and finish your last year after the battle?

Hermione: Thank you! Well....

Ron: Because she is Hermione Granger! If there's someone who loves studying more than breathing, that's her!

Hermione: Oh shush, Ron! *blushes* I mostly did it because it was finally over. I finally felt like I didn't have to fear anymore and that I could now be a normal witch and start planning my future. Never thought I would make it this far, but I'm proud of everything we accomplished, and I know I couldn't have done it without all of you, and you of course. *kisses Ron on the cheek*

Luna: So sweet. This question is now for Ron. You became an Auror and worked as one for a few years before working at the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Which job do you prefer more and why?

Ron: Blimey, Luna! That's a tough one. I honestly enjoyed working as an Auror. Every now and then, I go and help the newbies when they call me, but I have more fun working at WWW. Although every now and then, it makes me a bit emotional. *his voice cracks* *Hermione taps him gently on his back* George is great and we are always laughing and playing tricks at each other. It's family, you know, and I will always put family first.

Luna: Hermione, don't cry. *hands out tissues* Okay, one final question and I want all of us to answer it in one sentence or one word. What do you miss the most of our time at Hogwarts. One... two... three!

Ginny: Festivities, balls, and Quidditch!
Harry: Dumbledore, Hagrid, and my friends!
Hermione: Homework and my friends!
Ron: Banquets and dinners at the Great Hall!
Luna: Thestrals and nargles!

Luna: Thank you so much for joining us in this interview with the Wizarding Times. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did talking to you. See you on October 30th for dear Molly Weasley's birthday!
