The Philosopher's Stone

By Sirius Fudge

Twenty years ago, there was a stone
That could turn all metal into gold.
The Elixir of Life you want to own,
A very long life, for you will unfold.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in his greed
Wanted an immortal life of evil deeds.
Even on unicorn's blood he fed
To reach superior power he wanted.

Alas, the stone was in grave danger!
That summer in '91, it was nearly stolen.
Was then hidden by the headmaster,
The Mirror of Erised served as a safe haven.

But then, using Professor Quirrell's body —
Yes, him and not just anybody!
The race had begun to the stone.
Yeah, it was really so on!

Good thing Harry, Ron, and Hermione,
With their being courageous and witty,
Prevented Voldy from succeeding
And notified Dumbledore in the end.

The stone was then destroyed,
And death welcomed Nicolas Flamel.
The wizarding world was saved,
And in the end, all was well.
