<T-Bear> oh, okay
<T-Bear> sooooo?
<T-Bear> picky picky
<Kyrie> so i'm hosting >>
<T-Bear> okay :)
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> we'll be done in about 10 minutes and I'm free then
<T-Bear> ha! bet you are EXPENSIVE
<Kyrie> lolol
<Kyrie> yes I'm going to charge you for this interview
<Kyrie> 10 beans per question ;)
<T-Bear> go ahead and charge :)
<Kyrie> mmk
<Kyrie> freeeeeeeeeeeeeee
<T-Bear> :) thanks
<T-Bear> okay, here's the intro thing: everyone, this is KyrieBadger, a co-captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. She has graciously volunteered to give us an interview for our next WT interview.
<T-Bear> Kyrie -- when did you become RQT co-Captain?
<Kyrie> Last year after RQT's final game of the season.
<T-Bear> Were you surprised to become co-captain? being a first year and all (last year you were a first year, right?)
<T-Bear> Oh, and what is your name, please? I know you go by something else, sometimes, instead of KyrieBadger
<Kyrie> I was shocked! I thought it would go to someone who had been on the team longer or at least someone a little more sane! (yes last year was my first year. i'm ickle >>)
<Kyrie> Kyrie Adderholt
<T-Bear> ah, yes, Adderholt -- so you were shocked? were you given an explanation as to 'why' you were chosen? (we will ignore the 'sane' issue)
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> Yeah, I was pretty shocked. I think I got it because Tara and I were the only ones crazy enough to try to fill Cassie and Maya's shoes/
<T-Bear> were folks asked to volunteer for the positions?
<Kyrie> We were asked who was interested in the position.
<T-Bear> Who is your co-captain and who are currently on the team?
<Kyrie> oh lord
<T-Bear> oh really? that's pretty good :)
* Kyrie drags out her list
<Kyrie> My co-captain is the lovely Tara Aurelium
<T-Bear> you had to look that UP? :O
* T-Bear gulps .....
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> I'm looking up everyone else -- Adeliene Cromwell, Adelline Aldridge, Alexia Riaper, Annie Chandran, Annovien Fang, Aylarah Scale, Cassandra Lobiesk, *Drizzt Viri, *Helena Rosenblum, Jenna Hathaway, Keira Ashworth, Kiri Galdor, *Kyndrei Ward, Mark Mandrake, Maya Winters, Rosanna Gullveig, *Ryan Granger, Ryan Lobiesk
<T-Bear> what does the * mean? by a name
<Kyrie> oh those are new members Annovien Fang and Kiri Galdor should also have one
<T-Bear> do you have any 'good' stories you can share about your team? or members of the team? (that you won't be murdered for when it is published, anyway)
<Kyrie> lol .... i'm thinking >>
<T-Bear> ah, well, while you're thinking, let's continue and when you think of one, tell me :)
<Kyrie> kk
<T-Bear> tell me, which kind of broomstick does the RQT prefer? do all the team members ride the same sort? or do they bring theirs from home sort of thing and ride whatever is available?
<Kyrie> We all ride Firebolts. However, some team members have named theirs things like Tennant. >>
<T-Bear> like having a ... thestral or something and naming it? or a hippogriff?
<Kyrie> lol yes
<T-Bear> ah, okay ..........
<T-Bear> are you still wearing those SAME robes that you've been wearing for ages? you know, the LUCKY robes ? aren't they getting a LITTLE SMELLY? I understand that a winning streak for the Quidditch Cup can entail a lot of superstitions but ... really ....
<Kyrie> We are still wearing the same robes. Why change something that's worked for the past 5 years?! Surprisingly, they aren't that smelly! Well, most people's aren't smelly. A certain chaser's robes smell like cabbage.
<T-Bear> oh? which Chaser?
<Kyrie> Maya Winters of course! She's our resident smelly ... cabbage.
<T-Bear> ahhh .... um, is that safe to say, isn't she a professor now? ..... and, really, is that giving away secrets? you know, if someone had a good scourgify spell to use, during a game, that SMELL might be the only thing holding her robes together ....
<Kyrie> lol she is a professor (just don't call her that) and she will actually admit to being a smelly .... cabbage
<T-Bear> hmmm .... so, what question or questions were you thinking I would ask?
<Kyrie> about Tara and I taking over, any changes we've made, new members, RQT's sekrit plans
<T-Bear> well, what changes have you made?
<Kyrie> We haven't made any major changes to RQT. The biggest thing was my attempt to ban cheesy music that our previous co-captains loved so much.
<T-Bear> (and the new members thing, that is part of the thing above, you telling me stories about the team members *G*)
<Kyrie> lol ... hmm, well I could tell you about Kiri Galdor
<T-Bear> so, now, have you thought of stories yet? .... okay, tell me :)
<Kyrie> Kiri had practiced and botted with RQT for most of last season (maybe before, but I wasn't around), but had never tried out for RQT. One night she was botting and Tara and I were watching and we decided that she should be on the team despite not trying out. We added her to the team that night and she's been a great addition ever since!
<T-Bear> heh .... did you TELL her you were adding her before you added her?
<Kyrie> lol no it was a surprise for her
<T-Bear> *rotfl* that's great :D .... tell me another story
<Kyrie> lol i'm still thinking!
<T-Bear> well, while you're thinking, let's continue the interview ... it's ALMOST over, if you want
<Kyrie> lol .... I dont mind ..... ask away!
<T-Bear> how many practices do you hold a week? and do you have any botting minimums for your team?
<Kyrie> 4. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday --- No, we don't have any botting minimums besides our tryout. We just encourage people to bot when they can.
<T-Bear> *nods* are the practices mandatory to attend?
<Kyrie> No, our practices are pretty much the same as botting. We just encourage people to attend when they can.
<T-Bear> how many hard-core folks do you have on your team? folks that you say 'ah, this person and this person WILL show up, come rain or sleet or snow or hail' sort of thing
<Kyrie> The majority of our team is hard-core in one way or another. Those that can't make it to practice make up for it with lots of botting and vice versa.
<T-Bear> so they pretty much are self-motivated and you don't have to get on anyone's cases? in other words, they're quidditch fanatics whether or not they are on a team?
<Kyrie> Nope! Most of the team are really competitive so if they see someone else botting, they will want to bot more and try to beat the other person.
<T-Bear> their own team member?
<Kyrie> lol yes
<T-Bear> I wonder if that is a trait of Ravenclaw, the 'competitiveness' of it all ?
<Kyrie> I think so. Ravenclaw is pretty competitive in anything. People in nests compete for the most points each month, RQT'ers compete in botting. We're just a competitive house.
<T-Bear> well, the results are certainly nice to see! well, um, at least if you are in Ravenclaw .... okay, any last thoughts, ideas or words that you wish to present to your adoring public who will be reading this article? and remember your TEAM will be reading it too *HALO*
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> Well, I just want to say that I love all of RQT. They are all amazing (slightly psycho) people! I want to wish all of the other teams the best of luck and I hope that we can have a FUN season cause that's what quidditch is really all about.
<T-Bear> (aww) ....... any more?
<Kyrie> yes
<Kyrie> -bites TarmaEagle-
<Kyrie> thats all
<T-Bear> ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
* T-Bear puts duct tape on that BEAK
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> I had to say that
<T-Bear> .... thanksfortheinterviewKYRIEBADGER
<Kyrie> no problem! it was fun
<T-Bear> you really didn't have to say that ....
<Kyrie> lol
<Kyrie> I did
<T-Bear> did not
<Kyrie> >>
<T-Bear> ...
<T-Bear> <3 thanks, Kyrie :) look for this in our upcoming Wizarding Times :)
<Kyrie> no problem <3333
