The Burrow — Spring, New Beginnings, Comfort
Who doesn't think of the Burrow as a place of comfort? We all looked forward to reading about Harry's stay at the place where he finally felt "at home" while we enjoyed reading the HP series. Isn't that what we all look for when we return home from somewhere, whether it's from a long trip, a weekend get away or just coming home from work or school. It's our safe place. It's the place to be with the people we love and we can relax and just be ourselves.
And isn't that what HOL and our houses are? These are the places where we all joined to celebrate our love of the HP series and find friends who we are relaxed with, just being ourselves. Some of us met life long friends along our way here, and even spouses for some.
Each September and February, we have our own New Beginnings with the start of each new term. It's the time to start fresh. New classes, new chances to try your hand in activities, or taking a chance to put on activities for your fellow HOLers.
So take this time to try something new this term. HOL has so much to offer.
