Anew
In comes a new season
Like turning over a leaf
Whether or not you're ready
The last might have seemed brief
With change in scent and color
New leaves abound on trees
As flowers start to bloom once more
We welcome back the bees
But with new flora comes pollen
And other motes that bother
The insides of our noses
Are not safe any longer
As always times are changing
They come and go so fast
But with good friends surrounding us
Great moments always last
The season calls for newness
So allow some sprouts to grow
They may go off and flower elsewhere
We'll never truly know!
