Gryffindor Update
Gryffindor House is all a-buzz for the new academic year at HOL! The firsties frantically run around to sign up for classes, and the older lions seem very much preoccupied themselves. The new Dens, too, have made their appearance. Firsties, no matter the confusion, already have a place to call home - and get hassled by!
'CONSTANT POINT EARNING!' seems to be the motto. As such, there are some students who are already twitching and randomly tapdancing in the Common Room after a grueling session of homework. However, there is definitely a source of fun and relaxation: the Gryffindor Common Room arcade which sports many games and, daretosay, time wasters. The lions are getting their game on.
Paw Print, the Gryffindor House magazine, has geared up for the year with a few new additions to the staff. It welcomes Lily Padfoot, Moxie Mungo, Kadina Tigano, Eve Shay, Guinevere Moon, Amanda Hensgen, and
Crystal Key! Phew. WATCH FOR THE PAW PRINT, YO! It's very entertaining, and as very much advocated by the Paw Print committee, a point-earning opportunity for students of the other Houses. Keep an eye out for Prose and Cons, and Mirabella Nevlome's topics about what *you* can do to get your house some points!
IT'S COMING! Do you know what? Do you know when?! Soon enough, Gryffindor will have its mysterious and muffinish month of festivity. Students may see Gryffindors acting increasingly strange, so cut them some slack - and give them some Caramel Cougars, Licorice Lions, Toffee Tigers, and Peppermint (very fresh breath!) Panthers!
