  2. Thank you! Cosmo has a class ( Classes ) - Knitting the Muggle Way - click here at HOL Hogwarts. It's excellent! She is very knowledgeable about knitting (and knows how to explain things to me so it makes sense). I'd not be wearing my Leverage poncho now if she'd not been very encouraging! 4. Hi Badgers! My name is Celeste Farhorn. I am a first year here on HOL and am about two assignments and three finals away from completing my first year on the site. I must say, it's been an absolute blast! I'm 22 years of age, have a fondness for all things writing and literature, though appearance wise you would never guess that because I tend to dress like a skater chick. I'm from the UK, currently living in Stoke due to all this pandemic madness, though originally from Birmingham, thankfully without the accent! I'm basically that hair dying, skin piercing, tattoo adoring girl that loves books and technology way too much (whenever I'm not on here I'm usually gaming :D) Oh, and not to mention, music is a huge aprt of my life, there's nothing I love more than going to a concert and feeling the room vibrate!

  5. I finished the Northern Lights poncho last night! (Decided to just post this in a new reply, because the Erumpent is in the previous picture and wanted to leave her there. )

  6. *saving this spot!* I'm knitting a Northern Lights poncho and have one side done and am knitting the other side. When I get it done, I'll come in and put it in here. When I first started the poncho, I was using a different pattern and ... it didn't work! However, I had taken Cosmo's class and got to where I can pretty much almost not flail when I screw up on an item and simply frog it (rip-it out) and start things over. So that's what I did; undid all that I had knit and started over. In the meantime, here is a basic scarf of which I'm rather proud because it is of alpaca and I had to use two strands of the yarn and smaller needles and it took forever for me to finish it! Alpaca is sort of slithery to knit with and I'm not the greatest knitter and/or fastest in the world!
